Stopped here while I had to wait 15 minutes for my prescription to be filled next door at rite aide. I had the Signature Ruben to go. It was delicious and the amount of meat in the sandwich was very generous. I will definitely try the hot pastrami next time and can't wait to try breakfast. Place was clean and service was fast. Nice people.

This morning we had breakfast at Gershon's Deli. We have had take out sandwiches for lunch and their brisket is outstanding. However, we were not impressed with their breakfast. I ordered a bacon and cheese omelet with grit cakes (the waitress said that they were just plain grits) with a glass of milk. My husband ordered over easy eggs with corned beef hash, hash browns and orange juice. After twenty minutes when the four top was served after coming in later than us, we started to wonder about our food. Five minutes later, a gentleman strolled by us and said our food would be out shortly. Ten minutes later, our food came out. It was okay, but nothing to write home about. Anyone could have made it in their kitchen. Finishing, we looked at the bill and discovered there were two sizes of drinks. Our waitress never asked us if we wanted large or small so we received the large. Our waitress never checked on us. I went to another table to get the jelly. My husband had to ask for a glass of water. We will continue to have lunch there, but breakfast will be up the street at New York Deli.

Been going there for years and will not go back. New owners who do not care about customer service. Party of 9 and half were served 30 minutes after the other half. New owners did not care. Yes mistakes happen but it is all in how it is handled. The new owners did not handle it well at all. Said it was our fault after since we ate it. Was not the waitress but the cook who had just been at the table bragging about how good they were. He lost half the order but it was all on one ticket. Perhaps they shouldn't brag about how good they are until the can back it up with customer service. Won't go back

While visiting from Ohio, We came across this place. (with the help of Yelp!) Food was really good, service was a bit slow. Kids meals are over priced. I'm pretty sure it was 5.99$ for a kids meal & then another 2$ for a drink?! Friendly servers.. Would definitely come back!

Real NY deli! Best Italian sub I've had in a long time. Crust was crunchy and held up well. Sub was packed full of meat and toppings. Excellent flavors. Cucumber salad was vinegary and dill-just right. Kids meals were good size portion. I only wish the sides were bigger size. The staff was friendly and helpful even at the end of their shift. Reminds me of delis up north. Will definitely come back next time we are at the beach!

Not pleased with new ownership this past year. The portions are small. Too expensive for what you get. Sandwich had very little meat. Owner should have made good on the sandwich. To many other places give generous portions and quality food that I would not return here. I am from NY and this is not like anything I am used to.

Best gyro around! Definitely making this place a regular lunch stop. The owner (I'm assuming) personally came to every table, which was great to see.

Wow, how did we miss this place. We have driven by a million times. From the minute we walked through the door we knew this was a great place. So many things on the menu it was hard to make up our minds. I got a tuna melt on sour dough bread. It was wonderful! I got the cucumber salad as a side which was out of this world. My husband got pastrami which he said was one of the best he has had. We will be back and can't wait to try breakfast.

Out of towner who was looking for a good lunch and I found it. Went with the turkey reuben on marble rye and it was quite good. Ordered NY style potato salad --- good, but super small portion. The views of other plates delivered to tables tells me this place is well liked by the locals. VERY extensive menu. And a hustling wait staff -- not the rude kind who wants you in and out. The good kind who serve you and pay attention. Back next week on business again and I think they'll see me again. Too many good things to try.

First time here. So far so good. Excellent hot pastrami on wonderful marble rye. Split pea soup was very tasty, but a just tad too salty for my taste. (Ate most of it anyway.) Friends with me loved their sandwiches and original potato salad. Menu is QUITE extensive, and has a lot of things I'd like to try on another visit - multi-level sandwiches, panini sandwiches, salads. Waitress was prompt and knowledgeable. Food came very quickly.

While on vacation over the Christmas holidays we came upon the eatery. At first glance, it was well kept, great lighting and most of all filled with customers. We ordered their chicken salad on marble rye and one of the soups of the day which was vegetable beef. I could not ask for a better sandwich, Fresh, Loaded and Very Tasty!!!! The soup was a bit salty ( But I am a person who uses little to no salt ) was loaded with flavor, and plenty of veggies.. The help could not have been friendlier, helpful as to their menu, fast with getting our order to go.. In short you would be missing the boat if you pass by this little NY Deli... I tip my hat to you Gershons.....

This place is addicting. A friend told me it was the best subs ever so I had to try. I have to say she was right! I wish they had better hours for us though. We work during the week so we can really only go on Saturday. I wished they were open for dinner and later on Saturday and Sunday too. :) But that is okay we will take it when we can get it. We have tried the pasta salad and potato salad. My husband wasn't crazy about the pigs in a blanket, but he said they just weren't how he liked them. The sandwiches are incredible. The service is great. It is always packed when we go so everyone else loves it too. It is very clean and actually really nice inside. It is great to sit down and eat or just take home. The staff is super nice too.

Soup and sandwiches were very tasty and portions were generous. Particularly enjoyed the hot pastrami sandwich. Service was friendly and the wait was not very long.

Wait staff was very attentive and fast. Lunch came out very quickly. My sandwich was great, ordered a roast beef sandwich with horseradish and pickled onions. Yummo! Its a nice local alternative to your typical sandwich shop. Ill be going again.

This WAS my favorite place when we visited family - but new owners have changed things and now.......as a native New Yorker, I was very, very, very disappointed that the food changed. "WAS" - absolutely authentic Jewish New York Deli - from the potato salad to the hot pastrami on rye to the pudding! "NOW" - "forget it"

Excellent food but very very very slow service. If they work on that could be 4 to 5 stars. Pastrami is excellent
